The Hammerhead Story:
small town of Pitman, NJ, a long tome ago, there were two
musicians....Bill Kirsch "Stubbs" and Gary Middleton
"Holms". They were quite talented and fans from all around
would come to hear them play. Holms, a guitarist since age thirteen,
was self taught and cut his barboury teeth on the likes of Eric
Clapton, Ritchie Blackmore, and Eddie Van Halen.
STUBBS & HOLMS
Stubbs, traumatized by disco, taught
himself bass guitar. To our good fortune, it was the seventies and
eighties rock and roll. Influenced by the band "Rush",
Stubbs has set out to beat the record, for the most appendages used
simultaneously in a single song.
Lou Crispi "Tech", was classically trained in voice by a woman named Tanya.
She didn't work out of an office but did teach Tech to be flexible and
wear many musical hats. Hammerhead is a driving original rock and roll
band, determined to leave you tapping your toe and humming our tunes.
Imported from Delaware City, Delaware. drummer
Mark Doty began his musical journey at age 9. After receiving some important
support from swing drummer Gene Krupa who told Mark to "keep at it son,
you'll always stay young", Mark remains loyal to that creed.
